#3 ...And now - I'd say, spring/fall of next year - watch A-10 units have sudden, unexplained personnel and parts shortages. The USAF leadership was badly embarrassed by having to climb down on this, and they have very long memories.

#4 The USAF is strapped for cash. I think that the board of directors should got off their duffs, start doing the people's business and deal with it.

The F-35 is not a replacement for the A-10. No amount of wishful thinking will make it so.
