#5 In the parable of the Talents, when the guy given one talent failed to do anything with it, Jesus didn't have the master take from the guy who had 10 to give it to the loser. Instead, he took the one away from him and gave it to the one who had 10. (Matthew 25:24-29).

Ever heard the phrase (usually said complainingly) "him who has, gets"? It's biblical, and Jesus supported it (Matthew 25:29).

I believe the fault of concentrating on the one fact that seems to support one's cause, while ignoring the 9 that contradict you, is a congenital syndrome that afflicts Leftists. One would think that, given a mind laced with so many self-inflicted holes, that they would be easy to defeat. I was quite puzzled by their success until Ted Cruz' speech about how tbeir ineptness was aided and abetted by Republican leadership.

Then it all made sense...
