#1 Operation Enduring Freedom ended Dec 2014

we are now in Operation Freedom's Sentinel.

Afghanistan has about 150k troops active of which at least 25% to 50% are not combat ready.

taliban have about 30k to 50k (many of whom are part timers)

ISIS, Al Q, Haqqani and others from <1k to 10k

Afghanistan has lost some 20k to 50k soldiers, police, etc. in past 15 years (depending on how militias, part timers, deserters are counted).

Taliban has lost some 20k-60k.

No end in sight for this conflict.
