#3 I'm sure he was only walking peacefully from his Choir practice to the orphanage where he regularly feeds the orphans after which he will wander down to the blood-bank to make his weekly 2-pint contribution.

He was turning his life around and all of his friends witnessed that he had his hands up and was surrendering when they shot him in cold blood. Such a bright future - wasted

#4 One of California's better ballot propositions was called the Three Strikes law, as in three felonies and you get life in prison without possibility of parole. Judges and politicians hate it but it kinda puts a chill into the bad guys. Sounds like Illinois should try it.

#7 Only 43 arrests in 11 years. I'll wager that for 1/3rd of that 11 he was in some kind of lockup. So 40 some in 7 years, that's only one every other month. No so bad when you break it down
