#2 I went to the Harvard Business Review article linked by badanov's link. Six comments last night -- only the first of which I could access, possibly because I lack the skillz -- but that first one was devastating. Ideology is no substitute for logic, guys.

#3 Gun rights and the 2nd Amendment are the last bastion of freedom. That is why the left is so adamant about destroying both.

#6 An act to amend and render more effectual, in His Majesty's Dominions in America, an Act passed in this present Session of Parliament, intituled, An Act for punishing Mutiny and Desertion, and for the better Payment of the Army and their Quarters.
-Georgii III. Regis

"Oh that is a 3rd Amendment quote."

For arguments sake, the Quartering Acts were initiated by Thomas Gage after the French Indian War, 1765. As unrest grew parallel to Gage's colonial responsibilities, Gage decided the best way to maintain control over the British Colonials was to relocate troops from the frontiers to major ports and to confiscate/destroy war making materials such as gunpowder. Gage declares firearms illegal in Boston, and conducts a series of raids on surrounding armories, resulting in the fighting at Lexington and Concord. The reaffirmation of the Quartering Act in 1774, even though it officially declared the property owner did not have to pay for a soldier's provisions, resulting in skirmishing in New York.

Did you know: Paul Revere was involved in the production of copper sheeting for the USS Constitution?

And as a reminder to West Virginia - not needing a license to carry does not automatically make you Lewis Wetzel - practice practice.
