#2 'Terrorism' is a method of asymmetrical warfare.

Some Muslims are terrorists. More Muslims aren't terrorists but approve of terrorism to further islamic political objectives.

Other Muslims disapprove of terrorism and aren't terrorists themselves.

The problem is that there's a consensus among Muslims about their political objectives vs the West.

Both the OIC and Muslim terrorist organizations are demanding that the West implement elements of Sharia law within Western nations.

Mainstream consensus Islam rejects the notion of peaceful coexistence. That is the problem, not 'terrorism.'

Given that American has been around a little over 200 years and your Religion of Peace over a thousand with a long record of conquest and war, certain followings gain a stigma by their actions.
