a valid point. I do not think it is funny at all. I am torn between being horrified at the waste of human life and terrified for the future of the U.S.

Unlike cambodia, however we have not yet decayed to the point where these powder puffs pose a real threat. In absolute numbers there are too few, and they are too thinly spread out.

This can change, but the rot has not gotten deep enough yet. I doubt I will live long enough for things to get that bad. I do not envy the lot of those 10-20 years younger than me, though.

Review indeed! I had the pleasure of knowing a rather talented Cambodian fellow who had been summoned from his Khmer detention camp hut to repair a KR Cadre office air conditioner. Unlike the previous three repairmen, he successfully repaired the AC unit.... and lived.

#19 Klingon, I ain't, but I was curious. For the rest of you - It was formed in 1968 as an offshoot of the Vietnam People's Army from North Vietnam. It was the ruling party in Cambodia from 1975 to 1979. It allied with North Vietnam, the Viet Cong, and Pathet Lao during the Vietnam War against the anti-communist forces.

The organization is remembered especially for orchestrating the Cambodian genocide, which resulted from the enforcement of its social engineering policies. Its attempts at agricultural reform led to widespread famine, while its insistence on absolute self-sufficiency, even in the supply of medicine, led to the death of thousands from treatable diseases such as malaria. Arbitrary executions and torture carried out by its cadres against perceived subversive elements, or during purges of its own ranks between 1975 and 1978, are considered to have constituted genocide.

No Jewish connection that I could ascertain, but plenty of blood on everyone else's hands. Last paragraph is a gut punch and an unmistakable template still in widespread use today:
