#1 ...I got an update for it a few days ago, but as soon as I saw this I yanked it out of the hard drive. Can't remember the last time I used it, anyways.

#2 Yeah, we still have it on our system. Hardly ever use it and this makes a good case for removal.

Normally use VideoLan (VLC) player anyway. Way more flexible.

#3 Clean your registry with CCleaner or some other good one afterwards. QuickTime leaves some cr*p.

#5 QuickTime is little better than Adobe Flash. The faster both of those products are off your computer the better.

On the plus side all the corrupt files will be gone.
