#3 One of the arguments against Trump's wall is that smugglers will use tunnels. My counter argument is that tunnels are expensive, dangerous and time consuming to build. Then when the authorities find the tunnel all that investment goes down the tubes. The wall will raise the stakes. I still think the wall should be built.

#4 Also you can put iron bars down pretty deep that are attached to sensors to find someone trying to cut through them or dig under them.

It makes it so expensive and risky that people mostly stop trying to smuggle in that way.
