#3 Long lines and the accordion effort at 'high-target/high-volume' airports provide additional time for CCTV monitoring [spotting] and assist in the disruption of terrorist timetables; or am I giving our security effort too much credit ?

In their staff cutting cost reduction strategy, TSA has reduced the number of checkpoints and increased the target value. Content from most any flight reservation website can be used to optimally identify candidate airline cluster sizes and times in advance.

#9 Don't know about that gorb.

This fits in with so much of Obola's MO.
First you have to determine what the mission really is.
My guess is that it has a lot to do with exerting control over citizens and softening them up like the IRS and EPS and DoEd are doing.

Blowing up a plane makes for better theater. However, in the past, the lines were not such juicy targets. It will happen.

#13 If the people would just stay home and not fly there wouldn't be any lines and the TSA could do nothing and collect a paycheck. I think it's a lot like when the Veterans' memorials were closed. Make it hurt.
