o A third policewoman pulled out her gun as the other two were attacked, and shot the attacker. The killer subsequently died of his wounds.

o One of the policewomen will need plastic surgery to repair deep cuts in her face.

o They are calling it terrorism, the only question is whether the still-unidentified killer was a lone wolf.

o Killer walked up to checkpoint outside Charleroi police headquarters, took a machete out of a sports bag, then attacked.

o Charleroi is home to "extremist gangs", is where the Paris massacre jihadis got an AK47 and explosives, among other jihad connections.
