#4 Yes, now that all the ~~unreliable~~ gulenist elements have been purged, the army should do quite well.

After all, the freshly purged Soviet army did so well against Finland in 1938, right?

#6 I have the odd feeling that Turkey is about to get their rear-end handed to them on the ground. The planes there is little ISIS can do, but Ground-game wise I expect some heavy losses when they finally hit a pocket of ISIS resistance.

#7 ^ #6)Charles, you are assuming that ISIS is their objective? "~~Italia~~ Turkoman irredenta" (1) and "Death to the Kurds!" (2) seem far more likely as Turkish objectives.
