#8 I wonder if The Donald is 'chum baiting' here and actually hoping for the standard virulent liberal responses to this interview and the Detroit event.

Trump does 'Corporate Jujutsu' every day. Would be interesting to see how the opposition's actions could be utilized.

#10 JohnQC, I believe W tried to engage with the black community through the churches rather than the liberal controlled methods. It didn't help him when Katrina hit but still he did make the effort.

Trump has a good spiel with facts to back it on how the Democrats have let the black community down for decades. He doesn't have to bull$hit at all so I'm not sure how a liberal plant could derail much except the 'attack the messenger' type stuff. Even then the message will sink through to a lot of folks, especially if he adds "attacking the messenger and calling Republicans racist" to avoid anyone paying close attention to the democrat record as part of his speach.
