#5 Bad headline. Their identity as "women" was established only by post-mortem exam. Veiled entities shouting "Allahu Akbar" bullet-riddled at Mombasa Cop Shoppe would have been more accurate.

#7 I don't know if forensic investigators use this much, but normal human females have a single Barr Body visible in cell nuclei using routine histologic stains, while males have none. I remember we students checking mouth cell scrapings for this as an exercise: the female students were very easy to distinguish from the males just using this test. There are exceptions, of course.
