#1 It does seem to be short thinking. If we open up the world to lawsuits against governments the West will be deluged with real and harassment lawsuits.

#4 If these lawsuits do go forward, who knows what might be turned up in discovery. Might be interesting to see some of the interlocking relationships.

#6 g(r)omgoru, assuming you mean the international criminal court (came up on the second page of the Google search which is odd).

The ICC is ineffective, this lawsuit against SA would also be ineffective, and the shitstorm it would begin of other potential grudge lawsuits would also be ineffective as the leaders of various countries are unlikely to turn their own people over lest they be next. And it'll cost us all money and time.

I hate the Saudi's as much as the next guy but reminding the executive order against assassinations seems a better plan.
