#1 "...while 10% of Republicans join former President George H.W. Bush in supporting Clinton."

There should be political consequences for such "support". There is absolutely nothing "Republican" that would support voting for Hillary (unless its *cowardice*, or addiction to *graft*).

#2 Electoral college.

Keep your eyes on that, not the popular vote.

#3 Electronic vote counting. Keep your eyes on what.

#4 10% of Republicans join former President George H.W. Bush in supporting Clinton.

You have to wonder what is going on with the other 10%. So they don't mind voting for a criminal for POTUS and killer. They don't mind having a first husband who got impeached running around the WH dicking around. Is there a relationship or connection between the 10% and the Clintons they want to keep hidden. Makes one suspicious. What makes Hillary Clinton so desirable as a POTUS. Can't think of anything. Anybody else got anything?

#5 10O% of the Beltway Party Republicans join former President George H.W. Bush in supporting Clinton.

FIFY. Glad they're self identifying this time around.

#6 Certainly confirms what many of us have suspected for decades. Hat tip to Trump for flushing the bastids out.

#7 Crusader, those folks haven't been Republican for some time, they just learned to talk the talk to get elected. Now they'll join the Dems and maybe pull the loyal opposition back to some sense of loyalty to the country again.

#8 It's going to be interesting. Personally, I doubt most people spend more than 90 seconds making up their minds in any election. So when I see polls swinging one way or the other by more than a couple of points, I write them off as describing a phenomenon which does not exist in real life.

That said, this year the election is between the least popular presidential candidate in US history, and the second least popular. So who the hell knows? Maybe the major party numbers really will come in this low, but somehow I doubt it.

#9 I think a lot of people don't trust the media anymore and are picking up facts bit by bit this go around.

I think Sanders supporters aren't sure how angry they are at Hillary.

I also think a lot of Trump supporters are quiet to avoid having their car keyed.

The combination of the three makes all hte polls volatile.
