#2 The Daily Mail adds:

Fakhraldin was not under the influence of any drugs or alcohol, the police report found.

While Alcala hopes Fakhraldin will be kept off the streets for good, the California Highway Patrol told FOX he was no longer in custody.

It remains unclear whether Fakhraldin will be facing any charges, but the FBI has gotten involved in the incident.

Photos of Mr. Alcala and the car, but oddly enough none of Mr. Ameer Abbaf Fakhraldin.
