He has broken his oath to the Constitution, which limits government intrusion and invasion into the lives of American citizens. #4 First became aware of Powell during Gulf War 1. Saw him as a bureaucrat and little more. Lost respect when he voted for 'O' in '08 (amongst other things).

Was impressed then by Gen. Schwarzkopf and really took him to heart when he asked a stupid reporter, who was commenting on the seeming lack of Iraqi strategic defenses with the drive into Kuwait, "Ever been in a mine field?"

His passing in 2012 was a great loss.
