#4 I have a buddy that's over there. It's not like the whole of Athens (or the rest of Greece) is 'in flames'; he explains it's pretty much a few blocks of the center of Athens. Whether that changes remains to be seen.

#6 Maybe they are demonstrating because the country's finances are a shambles because of the advice Lehman Bros gave them and the empty suit gave Lehman Bros executives a pass on various kinds of fraud including the housing market collapse...and the fraud and criminal activity associated with helping the Greek government sell a bunch of debt in the form of bonds to help them hide the true nature of the problem.
