#7 most of these will stay in prison for at least 5 more years - some are probably sick and will die either while still in prison or soon thereafter

some will be murdered by friends of people they think ratted them out while in prison

some of them will, at the time of their release be too old to go back to narcotic distro

perhaps a few of them will go back to criminal activities

the whole thing is pretty awful - the crimes, the criminals incarcerated, the criminals still on the street, the past victims, future victims
