#2 ...Without denying for a second that the animal rights whiners and changing tastes had a lot to do with it, I suspect that the often outrageous cost to SEE said circus had a lot to do with it. Last time we went was IIRC 2011, and between tickets, parking, food and a souvenir, for three of us it was within spitting distance of $300.00.

#4 I think the closing was more due to the ever diminishing attention span of younger people. They would rather sit in their room and "play" on social media than go outside and experience something first hand. Combine that with those asshats of PETA, and it was just a matter of time.
