#1 report on the "Aviationist" blog about the B-2 strike was that 3 aircraft were sent; one as a spare. seems to me that since there were no reports of either primary a/c aborting, good planning would have identified a secondary target. think of the arbon footprint that dead head flight made. but then again gotta remember who was waffler in chief.

#4 A single U.S. Air Force B-52 bomber...

For this little training mission, they had to have gotten flyover clearance from a number of folks (including the Rooshens), unlike the B-2s in Libya the other day. Even with ECM, they must light screens up over a pretty wide area.

Hopefully we can still put more than one of these BUFFs up at a time, with all the maintenance cutbacks being reported
