#7 A long time ago (and far far away) I was involved in a study regarding variations in the current draw of light bulbs when subject to changing air pressure. The results led to a change from incandescent to fluorescent bulbs, and power filters on limited access rooms.

A little more recently I read a patent brief for a paint additive with similar interesting properties. When energized (illuminated) the molecule would vibrate in out of band frequencies. Pretty much a light powered tunable transponder, in the paint.

Remember the new embassy building in Russia a few years back? Frequency scans for transmitters is no longer a sufficient preventative. Active anechoic treatments will be necessary.
