#1 I blame Hernando de Soto.

As with most invasive species, the solution is to eat them. Luckily, they're quite tasty, although a bit peevish.

#8 "The United States is overrun with wild pigs, women, children and land at risk!!" should be the headline, and the story should be on every network and in every publication in the muslim world.

#9 Don't eat the pig if you kill it less than 3 miles from a salt marsh or trailer park.

#11 Trapped a few of the stupid ones this winter. Young and tender and tasty. Need to get a night scope if I am to make a dent in the population - they are tearing up the place.

#13 The boars taste like crap. The only decent (in my opinion) eating are the sows one to two years old. The pork bellies are crap also.

When I hunt them, I take the young sows and leave the boars for the coyotes and vultures.

Yep. Anything over 90lbs or 2 years isn't worth bringing home. Although I haven't tried it in sausage....
