#2 Yet, the Navy found the money to build a multi-acre solar panel farm in Kings Bay, GA. If I remember correctly, it also found the money to use "green" fuel at much larger cost. So, how are all those neat rail guns going to work if the ship can't sail?

#3 I agree with Spaise Slaitle1516...the Navy can not claim that their number 1 priority is readiness when they have a 47 per cent OR rate. Move money within the budget while asking for more.

#5 Why not just take the money we're wasting on the UN and on various pointless wars and apply them to the military, with proper oversight!

#6 Fiscal year in the Navy starts in October each year. It's not unusual to see ships tied up at dock in September just sitting because the fuel allocation doesn't start until the end of the month.
It was bad this way in the 70's, got better in the 80's, and has headed down again.
