If one makes an assumption that the Union soldiers were fighting on the side of emancipation; Although that may not be an accurate assumption since people go to war for many reasons, but let's assume it is true for now. It seems the debt was more than settled long ago. Leave it alone and put it to rest. Is that a serious enough conversation?

#3 359,528 Deaths. That was in a population less than 1/10 of today. To put that another way in today's perspective, that would be 3,590,280 deaths. Can you imagine anything America would intentionally sacrifice that many for today?

#5 I'm willing to set up a tax upon Democrats to pay for reparations. According to Dinesh all slave holders were Democrats so that seems just to me.
