#6 JFK used the term as well. The term applying to slaves is old and well-worn and useful as a way of comparison. Only the faux anger is new because this time a Republican made the comparison.

Having said that double-standards are so common Carson should have known this was coming.

#7 I don't get what the big deal is. Instead of being illegal immigrants the slaves were involuntary immigrants. So what's the problem?
