The author claims a Muslim immigration ban is the most important step in combatting Islamist terrorism yet provides zero guidence on how to achieve this initial goal. Don't hold your breath.

Well, there is this:

Title 8, Chapter 12, US Code 1182

(f) Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by President

Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate. Whenever the Attorney General finds that a commercial airline has failed to comply with regulations of the Attorney General relating to requirements of airlines for the detection of fraudulent documents used by passengers traveling to the United States (including the training of personnel in such detection), the Attorney General may suspend the entry of some or all aliens transported to the United States by such airline.

#5 Legally, title eight,chapter 12 did give the Executive broad authority. Some argue the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 diminished much of that power. Either way a strict prohibition based on religion does run counter to traditional American culture. The question is how to enforce such an order in practical terms. Maybe restoration of an Ideological requirement?

I firmly believe this. They have the notion that so long as THEY remain in the seats of power that it matters not one whit what happens to the rest of us. That's why I want them up against the wall when the revolution comes in earnest--they sold us out time and time again so that they could retain their feathered nest.
