#1 The more dead, imaginary, and illegal people who vote, the better Democrats usually do

#2 Raise the minimum age to vote to 35, and require photo ID. A lot of problems would be solved, overnight.

#3 The Democratic effort faces strong headwinds; year after year the country has voted in more Republicans -- and more conservative Republicans -- at every level.

#4 Registering at birth + infant mortality means someone gets a vote (or two or three) when the time comes.

Back to 21, unless serving (with at least 6 months under their belt) then 18. The original rationale was old enough to die for their country, well if you're not in, then you won't, therefore you don't qualify.

Of course the 'die for your country' argument should tie voter registration with registering for selective service, but that would be sexist since only one gender has to.

#5 What's next, registration before birth?

Yeah. Then an abortion but the voter remains registered just in case mommy wants to cast an extra ballot.

#6 What's next, registration before birth?
Remember the Orwellian titled Employee Free Choice Act? I had this mental image of twenty years from now of a classroom of preschoolers all holding up their brand new Party Voting Cards. 'Card Check' cards that gave the Permanent People's Democratic Party their life-long proxy vote -- after all, think how efficient the new voting process would be!
(Do I have to ad /sarc ?)

#7 "What's next, registration before birth?"

Naaahhhh. Since the Dems abort so many babies, that's covered under "registering the dead."
