Earlier, we reported that Lars Maischak, a history teacher at Fresno State, issued a tweet in which he said that President Trump must be hanged to “save American democracy.” The Fresno Bee published a puff piece on Saturday wringing its collective hands that Breitbart.com published a report on his offensive tweet, which prompted Maishak to declare that he really doesn’t want Trump harmed or assassinated. But he wasn’t finished, suggesting that a death sentence against Trump is “inevitable” if “democracy prevails.”
