In reality, difficult to do, except perhaps by the uniforms. I'm thinking it's also WAGes wether or not it's scientific WAG is debatable.

From what I'm gathering, what they're finding are remains in what is left of the (likely mainly collapsed) below-ground infrastructure. Most of those should be relatively intact, i.e. nothing scattered due to blast effect.

And - considering intel that indicates these Islamo-snuffy groups are highly organized, the chances that the dead are carrying documentation are greater than your garden-variety jihadi.

#8 Afghan Security Forces (ANSF) have apparently reached the cave complex targeted by last week’s MOAB strike.

Apparently, there is still a cave complex to go to. Better go back and drop another MOAB.
