#1 So he was carrying it so it could be seen. There's a law against that in the UK. Even if it can't be seen, it's illegal. And that's not a jackknife, or a utility knife, or a linoleum knife. That's a fighting knife in a sheath blinged up to lood BAAAD, man. And he was carrying it so it could be seen. Which he should have known not to do.
Or they had intel, which would be more than they had on a guy carrying a bomb a few days ago.

I have no doubt whatever he was doing was illegal, and stupid to boot, but what does a car passing by with the Queen have to do with it?

#5 I'm sure if he'd had a monkey wrench and a pipe snake, he'd of been shot 86 times in a hail of gunfire....then bayonetted until they are sure he's dead. Plumbers....hands of the devil.
