#3 Yeah if you have one of the torps they tried to power with high purity hydrogen peroxide they can go off if a sparrow farts near them. That peroxide can react over time with the alloys in the peroxide container and get really touchy. The Russians tried to blame the sinking on US Navy actions at the time. but unfortunately they had already bragged about their use of HP in their torps.
