#1 Mixed feelings about Army Rangers. I was on training staff at Quantico after tour in VN. And looking at 2nd tour. Hated it because I knew the Leadership of the US was misguided. No Cause except supporting the Corps. Always though Rangers were too proud of themselves and liked themselves too much.
But went up to see Ranger Demonstrations at Ranger installation in Lumpkin County in North Georgia Mountains.
Good young men. Watched them train and admired them.
Came away with a better understanding. It was me that was too proud. Remember TA-14 at Quantico and Camp Barrett. You keep getting better the longer you are in, it takes years.
You never stop. God bless them all. Attitude.
