#3 If these people do not have very solid connections to Paki Intelligence Services I would be very, very surprised.

#4 I've fixed the link to yesterday's article, which now points to the article instead of yesterday's Burg. My apologies for the error.

Second, Representative Wasserman Schultz fired Mr. Awan yesterday. The Daily Mail link phil_b posted yesterday now has the quote:

On Tuesday, Wasserman Schultz announced that Awan had been fired after his arrest was announced.

'Mr. Awan previously served as a part-time employee but his services have been terminated.

'No charges, evidence or findings from the investigation have been formally shared with our office, so we cannot comment on them,' a spokesman for her said.

#5 As I said yesterday, this looks to be just a holding charge, with more stuff coming. Lets hope there is some major plea bargaining over whatever dirt he has.

#6 The pursuit of this and other related potential instances of criminal activity does not appear to be very aggressive. This may account for some of Trump's frustrations with the new Attorney General.

#7 So is the family ISI, Taliban, Ikhwan, IRGC, common criminals, or some combination of the above? How long before their "raid" is praised in mosques?

#11 My thought. Whoever Trump has as AG, the folks on the lower levels will still 'slow walk' any evidence or charges.

The whole sector has to be cleaned out.

#14 Lock Little Miss Debbie up too for good measure. Call it criminal conspiracy to defraud. I got a feeling this little bird would sing like a canary.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe all of these congress critters get an allocation of federal funding to support their office staff to include IT personnel.
