#1 Sig Sauer P320 is a striker-fired, semi-automatic pistol. I wonder how many pistols with a hammer and safety discharged when dropped? I recommend they go with the Sig P225-A1.

#3 Well, the first line of the PM article is absolutely wrong. The P320 potentially has this issue. The "handgun chosen to be the U.S. Army's next generation handgun" is the M17—it is based on the P320 but has a different fire control unit and SIG's own press release basically says the voluntary upgrade for P320 owners is going to be some sort of retrofit of the M17 trigger unit into the P320. Hell, PM's headline blurb even says "the military version appears unaffected", so how did they allow that first sentence to make it into publication?
