#3 IIRC, the prenatal test for Downs Syndrome is not 100% accurate. Thus, there will be false positives. Who knows, they might accidentally kill the person who would have grown up to cure cancer.

#7 Not eugenics IMO, as Down's Syndrome isn't usually inherited. Which is why it can't be eradicated as the article wrongly states.
