#3 There was a time when Vikings ruled Russia. I read somewhere that the word slave is taken from the word Slav which is what the Vikings called them. The used to sell them in Constantinople. You might be surprised to learn how many Russians have Swedish ancestors. Too bad, it seems the old Vikings dissipated themselves all over Europe.
