#1 While the report did not find evidence that Russians had actually influenced the results of the election

So there's no there.... there.

But Clapper is right about one thing. "Casting Doubt" certainly appears to have been (and remain) an Intelligence Community goal.

Please, let us be honest. Forget everything else, her history, husband, and campaign. Having observed the post-election Hillary Clinton, is there really anyone who believes she would have been the better choice ?

#2 A butterfly flapping its wings in Amazonian delta had some influence on your elections - unless Russians can be shown to hack your voting machines, or to bus in loads of fake voters (and you probably don't want to go there) - what the hell does it matter?

#4 The "Intelligence Community " has its own Proctoscope? Isn't Science wonderful?

It's really dark in there. Somebody bring a flashlight.

#6 Bush's biggest mistake after 9/11 was that he didn't take a machete to the intelligence agencies who all dropped the ball, because he knew they were all good guys. It came back to bite him, and has created a situation where you can't take what they say at face value, because you don't know the motivation.

And it's looking like Trump is making the same mistake.
