#1 Gambling losses result in year-long firearms spending spree? How about a restful nap Sheriff Lombardo, then we'll have another go at it.

#2 That's why mass shooting are as frequent in Vegas as dailies are in Chicago. Or NOT.

#6 After a month there is still much that doesn't make sense about this mass shooting. A little transparency and honesty could quell much of the BS surrounding this shooting. Right now it still stinks.

#9 Gambling losses result in year-long firearms spending spree?

I thought the guy was a gun collector:

http://time.com/money/4969462/las-vegas-shooter-stephen-paddock-gambler-real-estate-guns/
Altogether, Paddock owned over 50 guns. He purchased at least 33 guns, the vast majority of which were rifles, in the 12 months before the mass shooting, an ATF official told CBS News.

As to why he did what he did, note that this guy wasn't a run-of-the-mill individual. He did everything differently. How many people switch careers like he did? How many make fortunes in real estate, then decide to become professional gamblers? The odds are that when he snapped, he also did it his way. Lots of times, the only explanation is people go down blind alleys, the same way that some people become blind drunks or dope fiends.

#10 #8 What's the difference between losing more and laundering more?

If you are doing both, you are in debt to bad people.

#11 Still don't know if any of the bullets that killed people in Las Vegas came from guns Paddock fired. Probably never will.
