#1 Drugs kill people. Cars kill people. Guns kill people. Knives kill people. Getting the common denominator here?

Owing to a fractured femur, I visited my Dr. recently. She asked me if I wanted something for pain. I told her no, Tylenol was doing the trick. She said "OK."

And I didn't die from an opioid overdose.

#2 Same thing with my recently broken rib. Tylenol worked just fine. I do have a few oxycodone for when I get a kidney stone but I don't touch them unless I get a bad one.

#5 Oh, I forgot, I was prescribed Oxy when I broke my ankle. When it kicked in, it still hurt, but I didn't care. At all.

I then knew Oxy and me should not date.

#6 I am weak. Narcotics have always agreed with my system. Opioids are just fine in their place, just don't run out on the weekend.
