#1 Voters please take note. Every last Senate Democrat voted against it.

#2 And, voters, let's not forget Senator Corker ("R"-TN), either.

#3 And note Susan Collins (R-ME) and Jeff Flake (R-AZ) - DACA & SALT are not exactly for your benefit.

#4 States (such as Jersey, California, Illinois...usual suspects) think they can get away with raising taxes with impunity because people can deduct them from federal taxes. Getting rid of this deduction might make these states more fiscally responsible. Meanwhile, how are those pension funds in Illinois doing?

After bankruptcy hits far sooner than later. Technically, they're already bankrupt, they're just moving the paper fast enough to maintain a certain degree of lift.

#6 I read that lawmakers received a nearly 500-page bill containing significant changes just hours before a planned vote. Sorry, this is not how democracy is supposed to work.

#7 ...I agree, but we have an oligarchy which we spinelessly acceded to in our rush to steal our neighbors wealth.

Democracy is not supposed to work EC - look up etymology of the word.

#9 I learned ancient Greek in school. Call it whatever you want but I think a bill shouldn't be put up to a vote before everyone had a chance to read it.

Yes I know most won't but at least they should be given the chance.

#10 C'mon. They passed Obamacare without reading it. Look how well that turned out! And Nancy Pelosi told us that we had to pass it to find out what is in it.

#11 EC - Regular Order: the topics/impacts/votes are discussed before the vote, maybe not the actual implementing language. The Dems rammed thru Obamacare with even knowing what was in it. For them to all-the-sudden become deficit hawks is staggering in display of hypocrisy and corruption
