#1 ...And unfortunately - and I say this with the utmost respect for the guys who somehow do this for a living - you're going to start seeing stories, already are in fact, about guys who never should have even gotten NEAR the selection process let alone get the badges and berets. When the demand is that great, the services will do anything they have to to meet that demand.

#3 We’re already seeing a few stories, Mike. But the ones less qualified are getting plenty of on-the-job training that will reveal whether those not born to it can be made. It won’t take long at this pace for the bottom quartile to either choose to leave the Special Forces path or, sadly, be quickly injured or killed.
