#6 There's a lot of 'pure' blood in some of those back washes where everyone marries their cousins, nephews and nieces. Keeping it in the family so to speak. The genetic consequences are not healthy.

I come from a mixed family with VERY little history. My folks did one of those genetic tests... and the results were: NO SURPRISES! The ancient legends were 100% accurate. (Half British, half Ashkenazi, nothing else.) It was very boring and anti-climactic. We were all hoping for some interesting discovery, but no luck.
