#3 Yes, a #2 audit at a minimum. If it is listed, removal from the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) listing might also be in order. I'm sure there are other discreet measures.

#5 No doubt the blatant insult went over well in Ms Spector’s insular little world, and will no doubt garner the Guggenheim some donations. But had she wanted the president to accept it, she would have been better off offering a silver toilet instead, as silver has anti-infective properties. There was a write-up in Scientific American on the subject some years ago.
