#4 I check the 'isis' map at liveuamap.com daily because they seem to be tracking things on almost an hourly basis. An added bonus is that the map can be zoomed to a fine grain ( wish I had it when the RAB 'shuttergun' chronicles were active!) so small towns can be searched for.

#6 It's usually an single-shot rifle-like firearm, a shotgun made in a machine shot with a "shutter" breech. Usually more sophisticated than a 'zipgun'.
