#1 I've been thinking about the concept of UFOs lately. Without FTL and more they are pretty much forever a non-starter on pure physics.
HOWEVER..
There is a possible way to have craft from elsewhere. It's been in lots of book and TV plots, a few movies and many Physics shows on PBS. Just not with UFOs.
Craft from alternate realities are much more feasible then craft from far distances. To top it of quantum science kind of requires various types of alternate realities when you run the math.

Just something to think about in the back of your mind. Maybe and Maybe Not but a hell of a lot more likely than something from across the galaxy.

Oh and if you did have a device to skip across realities a space or airborne one would be much less likely to embed itself in a block of granite or something awful like that.

#2 You’d want to be higher than the mountaintops to be sure, though, and then pilots wouldn’t be intersecting with them.

#3 There are Heavenly hosts.
You would be fool to mess with them.
They rarely show up but to prevent nuclear confrontations and they are reluctant to do that.

They are an Asset, just not for a single Country.
