#1 Turkish forces, war crimes. What else did you expect? I hope the Russians bomb the shit out of the Turks and their proxies. Make them pay the price. Because the US is too gutless to step in and stand up to Erdogan in any meaningful way.

Sanction Turkey now - and throw them out of NATO. Withdraw all forces and support - crater the runways on the way out.

#4 If the strategy is to kill civilians and all the women, then the operation is intended as a raid/spoiling attack, not an attempt to capture and hold territory.

If so, then the real Syrian/Iranian forces aren't going to oppose the Turks since they would take losses fighting a force that will soon be leaving. It seems likely that this incursion into Syria will result in the Turkish forces' withdrawal in a few weeks, as soon as they execute or drive out all the fertile women in the Afrin area.
