#1 When faced with a tactical solution, she hangs back and sets a cordon. Not aggressive in the least, no initiative, and completely against tactical procedure for a school shooting. It calls for immediate confrontation usually causes suspect to retreat because they arent psychologically or tactically trained to deal with an armed response - and sometimes when confronted forcefully they might suicide.

Did she ever have that training for tactical command of a fluid SWAt-type situation? If so, then she failed. If not then the Sheriff appointed an unqualified person and should resign.

She certainly reacted like what the military would call a REMF or Blanket Folder.

Other sources say she was promoted into the Captain rank and given tactical job - even though she came from the unit that does Warrants & Subpoena service for civil cases. Yeah thats where you find the best Tactical Captains. /sarcasm

I have nothing against alternate lifestyle people, if they have the proper experience. Some of the baddest LE's I've every seen were either gay or l3b1an and didn't take crap from anyone. I guess they were compensating. Of course the ladies I am referring to didn't give a damn what you thought as long as they could crack some heads.

There are some analogies here to the types of senior military leaders that Zero appointed to key positions.

Someone posted a copy of the active shooter procedures for Coward County and they stated that the shooter should be confronted immediately and securing the perimeter is not a priority.
