#1 A little late to notice the commies taking over our academic institutions.

Here's a strategy before its beyond recovery. Have state institutions go full back to A&Ms, previously agricultural and mechanical, but now (practical) application and medical. Focus on the STEMs, dump the arts leaving 'private' interests to take up those subjects. The Chinese then can subsidize that losing (and destructive) side of the house.

Spot on, where in the hell was the CIA under the empty suit anyway? And by extension where were they when the ChiComs pillaged and plundered our aerospace technology. It is no coincidence that the latest ChiCom fighters look a lot like the YF-23.

While at it, the CIA might recommend that we take a look into how the American radical left has infiltrated our universities.
